"Just A Blur"－as in "the last 25 years have gone by so fast they're just a blur, and I'm still doing the same things"－was put together in 1999 specifically for this sampler. The track was assembled using the same basic technique as my very first piece, "25-in. High" (1973), but updated for the computer age.

I still love the way this piece seems to encapsulate the whole history of humankind into two-and-a-half minutes.
